How is squad placement determined?

Squads are determined on age/divison, as well as through skill assesments. With our league size and growth, we divide squads within divisions taking into consideration skill level requirements.

Can my younger child be on the same squad as my older child?

We highly encourage for cheerleaders to be on the same squad as those within their age group/division. If a parent would really like for their younger child to be on a squad with their older child that is in a different age group/division, they are eligible to be a Mascot. As a Mascot: They will practice only the first practice of the week and cheer until half-time at games. A parent must be present for all practices and games to supervise their younger child. During games, the Mascot will need to be picked up at the start of half-time. They will not be eligible to compete at competitions. Please note that the Cheer Director holds the right to re-zone the mascot to their own age group/division if it's not a good fit.

Can I coach my child's squad?

Yes! We have several opportunities at all levels for coaches, assistant coaches and pack parents. Please contact the Cheer Director ( for more information.
