Can my younger child be on the same squad as my older child?

We highly encourage for cheerleaders to be on the same squad as those within their age group/division. If a parent would really like for their younger child to be on a squad with their older child that is in a different age group/division, they are eligible to be a Mascot. As a Mascot: They will cheer the 1st half of games only. A parent must be present to supervise their younger child. During games, the Mascot will need to be picked up at the start of half-time. They will not be eligible to compete at competitions. Please note that the Cheer Director holds the right to re-zone the mascot to their own age group/division if it's not a good fit.

Can I coach my child's squad?

Yes! We have several opportunities at all levels for coaches, assistant coaches and pack parents. Please contact the Cheer Director (indsey.moon@cpyfa.com) for more information.
